Eufy doorbell with battery 3 sec buffer

Just installed a Eufy battery doorbell and very disappointed with the delay in alerts and the fact it’s so slow to start recording you generally miss the moment, in comparison my old Ring doorbell was much better.

Question is if I hard wire it will it improve and behave like the hard wire only version and pre record 3 seconds before each movement?

I would expect there will be no difference, because it seems to be a software problem, and not a power problem. It would have been better if the bell was just on a local network and communicate to just the Home Base, instead of going on line to Eufer and back and depending on your Internet speed.
