I’m researching battery, wireless security cameras as I have older Blink XT cameras. I’ve seen mixed comments concerning the implementation of motion Zones for Eufy cameras. I live on a fairly busy street. I need to exclude the recording of the street. Do Eufy cameras exclude the recording/motion detection or just the notifications. I think I would drain the batter fairly quickly if it recorded.

Yes … shame on eufy, they just don’t get it - since a year!
ONLY notifications are turned off, thats it, a joke! Has nothing to do with real detection/activity zones, where only records are made, when activity is triggered in the defined zone! Their “feature” is not even worth the name. Forget about it. it will record and drain your battery. Not to talk about, that a simple 4 corner rectangle isn’t enough to define a precise acitivity/detection zone.
We pray since 1 year that eufy finally fix this and make it worth its name. No chance … just dumb. Senseless feature!
