Eufy Cam - can no longer access videos live or previously recorded: unable to connect to HomeBase. (-3)

I have a HomeBase E on ethernet with two eufyCam E

For the last month or so, I’ve been completely unable to access either the cams live, or previously recorded videos using the app on my Android phone.

Every time I do, it takes around 10+ seconds to try to load and then gives me “unable to connect to HomeBase. (-3)

I can still see the still shots that summarize the each video, but nothing else. I’ve tried rebooting the HomeBase and a nothing has changed.

Are there ports I need to open up or anything like that?

Have you tried a clean download of the app? From your description it seems more like an app connection error rather than the cameras and Homebase not being able to report out to a remote connection.

That did it. Reinstall fixed it and I can now access both on my home local network and away.
