EU ban on Apple’s Lightning connector is yet another profit making way. They would create some kind of proprietary USB-C to Lightning connector , include it with phone sets, license this to other manufacturers
It’s interesting to see such a push to get rid of the lighting port. I saw a video a while ago that talked about Apple could technically just force people to wirelessly charge the phones instead of switching to usb c
