Driving test

What chatting with my niece today and she mentioned that she failed her driving test for the second time, to which my first response was “I passed mine first time”. She gets my sarcasm so it was all fine.

Told her that I passed my car test first time but took 2 attempts to pass my bike test, mainly down the the fact that a lorry jumped the red light and while I “hesitated” (reason for my fail) I did so because I didn’t wanna be wiped out.

So have you taken your driving test (car/bike/lorry etc), if so did you pass first time? Anyone got any funny/scary stories of when they done theirs?

Got my driviers license in the second attempt for the written part…changed my answer the first time and I should have left it. But when it came to the driving test, the instructor got us lost and didn’t know how to get back. I told him I knew where we were but the speed limit was faster than what we were allowed to go, for testing we had to keep it under 30, he said he didn’t care how fast I drove as long as I got us back in one piece. Needless to say I drove it like I stole it, the instructor commended me on my power slide into the parking spot. He smirked at me when we got out of the car and proceeded to yell at me and tell me all the things I did wrong. He said I was lucky if I ever got my license, he handed me my paper with my score and told the next person to get into the car. Everyone was afraid of driving with him after that, I proceeded inside with a perfect score and walked out with my license

I got my car test passed on the 5th time because my nerves kept getting the better of me and I kept making silly little mistakes.

Been driving for 7 years now and driving my family up the wall for 25 years

I took mine through a high school summer school program it took about 3 weeks but it was easy passed the written and driving portion first time and with ease. I passed and get my driver’s license about 3 weeks before I turned 16 (youngest age in the states without an adult or hardship case) I wasn’t able to use it until I turned 16 but took about a month to get the card.

Nothing special happened for me. But there was another student that got ran off the road by impatient driver.

Passed mine on the first try but I’m told the other person from my driving school taking the test at the same time was on their 4th attempt and they still didn’t pass.

I passed my test on the first try, but it took me forever until I could afford my first car (and I could finally stop driving the family minivan everywhere :pensive:)

This is the most entertaining story I ever read.

No lie, when he yelled at me I was taken back at first because one minute he was telling me I did a nice power slide and now he’s yelling at me. But aftwards I realized it’s because I shouldn’t have been driving like that and he probably would have gotten I to trouble had someone reported that and he didn’t say or do anything. Either way I was stoked to get my license, got my very first ticket the next day too :joy:

Wow, great job.

The first driving test I had passed perfectly. But I could remember that I was getting so nervous that I was throwing up. I couldn’t make it to the test and I had to reschedule.

Passed my car test first time after doing a 2 week intensive course (driving between 2 and 4hrs each day Mon-Fri)

I sat my full motorcycle licence a year and a half ago and had to take the second part (MOD2) twice, as the first time the bike broke down half way through :frowning:
Passed it with no faults a few days later though. Even though the tester took me out on farm roads absolutely covered in sticky and slippy mud where I thought I was going to drop it!

I want to get my motorcycle license but I don’t even have a bike. I get jealous Everytime I see my son jump on his dirt bike and go riding

How does this have anything to do with Anker? Or Technology?

While yes it doesn’t have anything to do with technology or Anker, it doesn’t mean we cannot talk and engage amongst one another over other things besides Anker and tech. Go through recent post and you will see even @AnkerOfficial posting and asking things unrelated to Anker or technology.

Totally go get your license and a bike, even if it’s only a little one. Riding a motorcycle is like nothing else. I absolutely love it

yea hopefully come spring time I can do that, just gotta get everything in order first. Moving killed me in bills, so once i get caught up on that I can look into some fun toys

Not a single thing lol

Depending where you ride it, you could just get a dirt bike and have fun without doing your test
