Do you have any good resolutions for the new year?

I was really thinking about, but I have no.
And if so, these will never been kept.

No New Years resolution from me Franz.
I learned long ago that if there’s something important or worth doing, the sooner you start the sooner things change.
Delaying until New Year often means you didn’t have the dedication to do at another time so you’re likely to fail. Or of you’ve thought of something on the spot because its New Year, again you’re likely to fail.

I have friends who year after year say they will quit smoking in the New Year and never do, because its just an excuse to delay.

So true Paul! :grinning:

The question was more fun than serious.

But I got one :
We need to travel more in 2021 if possible.
This year only 14 days of vacation, not enough.

Travel is a good one and something many took for granted before.

I think after the year the world has had a lot of things need to be assessed personally, especially around material things. We all fill our lives with, a lot of the time, junk! And I’m a culprit of that, see it, want it, buy it.
I’m have started to buy only what is needed and keeping money for experiences for me and the family.
Getting out for a meal or a day out makes more memories than buying another coat or a new watch etc etc.

I stopped buying clothes, I can not use all those I store here.

I am buying and selling antiquities for about 40 years now.
If I would have kept all these, the house would have broken down.

Of course I kept some items which I really like and I am decorating the house with.

I remember when I came here to study I had only a suitcase.
But what do we have now here?
A big house, the rooms and the basement full of things.
Often useless.

Minimalism :
What do we really need (furniture) :
A bed, a chair a table and a wardrobe. :grinning:

No more fireworks allowed here.
That’s good. No more pollution and garbage.

Wow the moderator was fast here moving from Q&A.

I plan on joining the queue for the vaccine jab so I can get within 9 feet of an old person rather than wave from end of their garden path.

We should not take all those things too serious.
:grinning:

I wish I could do both but I haven’t had any luck lately, so most likely will end up buying lol. The one thing I really wanted was a Flare 2 and I just got for Christmas so I’m not on the market for another speaker, however getting another Flare 2 just so I can pair them would be awesome.
How about you? Anything on your wishlist?

A pair of Flare 2 would be great :+1:t2:
Not much on my lost for 2021, maybe the Atom III 63w (or its upgraded version) but the price isn’t droping and dont need it enough to pay £48.99/$100!

$100 would be a steep price for me. Yeah better wait for a sale or hopefully win it here

Yeah! Agreed. Its just change of dates. Your determination needs no dates. Its a way to make oneself fool.
