Do the Liberty Air continuously drain the case battery when not in use?

Just wondering if anyone knows if the Liberty Air earphones are supposed to stop charging in the case once it hits full charge and not start again until you take it out of the case and put it back, or if it will continuously charge to keep the earphones at 100%.

I’ve had mine for about a week and it’s been working fine. I’ve charged the case once in that time, and all the other times once I finished using the earphones I’ll put them back in the case, then take them out the next day to use them.

However, I put the earphones into the case after work last night, just like all the other times. It had 2 lights left on the case. When I took them out this afternoon the case was completely empty and the earphones were down to about 30% charge.

That’s why I’m wondering if the earphones were continuously drawing power the entire night or if the case suddenly running out of power is a known issue that other owners have experienced.

No. The liberty air do not draw power after they have been fully charged, because they power off while in the case. I’m not sure why you are experiencing this issue with your battery draining…

@Anjou1888 is 100% correct and i also don’t see this battery drain with my pairs. Contact support for this issue.

The battery doctor said I was right

Thanks guys.

I did find a Reddit post talking about a similar issue. They had 2 lights left on their case as well when it suddenly went dead. They said it wasn’t because the battery drained quickly, but because the indicator wasn’t in sync with the actual charge that was left in the case.

It was about 2 days since I charged the case. So maybe that’s what happened to me as well. I just used up all the battery but the indicator didn’t match up to the actual remaining charge.

I’ll keep using it for another week or 2 to see how it goes before I decided if I should contact support or return them.
