Disabling siren on camera?

Just bought an eufy Indoor Cam Pan & Tilt, and I’m still discovering its possibilities…
I’ve successfully added it to Apple Homekit, and notifications seem to work as expected.
However, when somebody (or me, while not yet registered as being home again) enters, the siren starts to sound. I’ve looked around in the settings in the iOS eufy Security app, but I can’t for the life of me find:

  • how to quickly mute the siren
  • how to switch off the siren permanently

Can anybody tell me how I would be able to do this?

Not sure on IOS, but on android you have to go into the app and click in security at the bottom

Then click on the gear icon for whichever setting you choose

Then select alarm for camera/homebase or both… mine are disabled when we are home

I have the Geofencing setting selected, and there the Camera-Alarm toggle is absent, and I didn’t think to check the settings I wasn’t using…
I’ve unselected the toggle now it in the (unselected) Home selection, let’s see if that works!
