Different part numbers for different markets

Hi,
I wonder why Anker sells some of the products with different Item model numbers (A1201011 for example) on different markets - on West Europe most of the numbers are with letter A or B and 7 numbers, for Near East markets same products are with letter A or B in the beginning and an additional letter instead of digit on 3’th place from the end. What is the reason for this - qualitty or something else?

I suppose its because of different software or chip versions.
eg. the limit of loudness is another in the EU and USA

Different language on packaging.
Different electrical connection (chargers, etc)
