I was on Imacs in the office years ago.
These are expensive, but I had not to pay for, I could order whatever I wanted! 
But we were some kind of a splitted chair.
Funny indeed!
Some were on Mac (Macbooks and Imacs), some were hard LINUXERS.
I worked on all systems, because I had to care about all computers there.
But what is left now here at poor pensioner’s office?
Some old LENOVO Laptops with LINUX mint.
These are great and fitting for an “Neanderthaler” like me.

The “elite” 
I remember when Anna was in school years ago, they had to use Windows.
But father Franz showed her how to do the same job at home with LINUX.
WORD, EXCEL etc. Libre-Office got all that! (free)
Was funny, so she got in touch with that OS and has no fears about to use.
Now she is able to use MAC-OS, Windows, LINUX, Android,
though she is a pharmacist now after 4 years of heavy studies.
(We are proud of her)
My laptop is still quite new a running a dream on Win 10 - especially after swapping out the standard HDD for SSD. So I won’t dabble and risk upsetting things 
Swapping a normal HDD for a SSD is a must meanwhile.
Even my old LENOVO T410s has such one.
And there are 8GB core.
That’s OK.
