The costs are so low, but the benefits are unbelievable.
I wrote @rhoffman0528 to use a mouse pad with a cushion for the wrist.
Please go for such one when altering the mouse.

I was suffering from all these RSI-problems years ago.
I was the first one who went into such ergonomic mice at our chair.
Those were pretty expensive those days.
But I got rid of all the wrist problems.
You have to change before the problems show up.
