I have had fantastic luck with the Google devices. Started out with a Nexus 4 and currently using a Pixel 3XL. There were several in-between those.

Since the iPhone 5 I was a Apple fanboy until I bought the 11 Pro and just felt a bit meh 
about it.
So I decided it’s was time to try something different.
Bought the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus on launch and never looked back.

Just replaced my LG V35 with the V60. So far I am smitten. My LG G4 was junk, but they really do make a nice phone typically.

Samsung Galaxy S9 is my work phone. For off contract phones for my wife, it has been a Nexus 5X (now in use by one of the kids) and a Nokia 6.1. Both have been pretty good.
None of them yet make up for my poor photography skills.

I’ve been surprised how well I took to it but love it.
I was initially put off as has Android in the past (early HTC days) and it seemed clunky and needed a battery pull every few days, but this hasn’t skipped a beat.
Added to that I have the Buds+ and Active 2, been considering a Galaxy Tab S7+ but think I’ll get another year out of the IPad Pro.

Currently use a Realme 5 Pro, can’t really fault it to say I was using an iPhone 7 for 3yrs before that…fast charging, expandable storage, very responsive and an excellent camera…all for £180

My phone is getting rather old but still does its job just fine. This is actually only my second phone. My first was a Samsung s6 and then it eventually stopped working and couldn’t make phone calls so now I have the S9 and have felt no need to drop money on a new phone since it’s still going strong for me.

My old s9 plus still works as well. The s9 is still a great device Good choice
