Connecting Soundcore Flare 2 to phone

I’ve connected/paired the Flare 2 to my laptop via Bluetooth, listening to music.
If I want to change a setting I’d like to use the app on my phone.
Is it possible to connect the speaker to my phone?
Even if it’s connected to the laptop. Or do I need to disconnect from the one to connect to the other?
My headset can do this connection thing automatically, can the speaker?

I think overall this would work.

I would say turn off the laptop bt
Connect it to the Flare 2 and change the setting,
Lose connection to the Flare 2 to prevent conflict between devices
Turn on laptop BT.

Unsure if it will keep the laptop connection though
