Compatible USB-C extender cable for 364 10-in-1 USB Hub

I asked this a couple of months ago but didn’t get an answer so I am reposting:

Is there USB-C extender/cable (Anker or otherwise) that I can use to extend or replace the 364 10-in-1 hub’s hub to laptop connection?

Will it be a Thunderbolt or USB-C 3.1+ cable/extender?

You might want to reach out to Anker Support to see if they have any recommendations. I would personally try a thunderbolt cable.

Thanks for the advice. I did contact support and this was their reply:

Sorry that we would not recommend using any cable extender, but if you’d like to get one longer cable that could work with Anker 364 USB C Hub (10-in-1, Dual 4K HDMI) , you may consider Anker Powerline II USB-C to USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 Cable (3ft)

I actually bought another 3ft USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 cable from a 3rd party. It worked like a charm.

The extra 1.5 feet of laptop to hub length gives me a lot more flexibility on my limited desktop space!
