WHOA :eyes:

A pad version is in the works, too.

These new wireless chargers support up to 15W output, but unfortunately lack USB-C input.

What do you hope to see with Anker’s second-generation wireless chargers? Be sure to let us know with a reply!

I like the usb-c input.

What’s weird about the model number?

If it lists out as a fast charge option for LG devices then I am happy. Dual coil would be nice for vertical and horizontal charge options also.

Idk, what is weird about the model number?

I’m digging it for sure. I do need a wireless charger for my kitchen…

I would hope to see higher wattage for wireless charging, something along the lines of 25w for wireless fast charging since we know Samsung and a few others started offering higher charging protocols

Hopefully that power level has serious heatsinking or you will be able to make eggs over easy before it burns up haha

Why? Samsung chargers are already capable at 25w, with the S10 5G phone and its no different than the rest of the wireless chargers they have. Besides, Anker has a few of their powerwave stands and pads that have built in tiny fans that help with heat disipation.

More a joke than anything. But 25w done wrong will be extremely warm. A small form factor of 10W like most anker atm is a far cry from 25W. I have worked with 30 to 40W transmitters that burn up internally if the heatsinking dries out or fails. Not saying its impossible, just that the more power you put out the better you need to cool it.

I was referring to what you said…

@Insider Nice information, thanks for sharing!!

This would be good challenge for Anker, and to come out as a Winner :+1: hope to see higher wattage wireless charging.

May be 15W charging and USB-C connector… Possibly!

I thought wireless charging was capped at 15W.
And Samsung’s newer phones come with a 25W charger in the box

I mean. I’m trying here people. Look at the other brands in the market and make it better. 15w is good, but not future proof. Honestly I was hoping for more than 20W - these guys already did it/ Can get it for ~$35USD

Xiaomi Qi 20W Wireless Fast Charger

Unless there is a Firmware updatable chip on board to enable higher wattages in the future

With a Model number of A2529 - I would hope its A 25w-29w charger. :100::man_shrugging:t3:

huawei-27w-supercharge-wireless-charger-cp61 is a 27W

I’d imagine internally you did a double or triple coil in the main vertical base. Like this one-

Something you could do on another version is make the lower supporting base a second wireless charger. So you could lay A Watch flat behind the vertical charger. Do one of the DUAL COIL chargers similar to the DUO Samsung one so a second phone or wearable can charge. Support the Apple Watch,Samsung Watches, etc.

Cant find the specific picture right now. But you know what it looks like. A normal form factor coil with the micro wearable coil in the center.

I thought Apple proved that this wasn’t possible?

No apple realized they couldnt sell it for the price they want of 200 dollars so they scrapped it and then blamed heat dissipation issues as the reason.

If it is possible, then why hasn’t anyone else released one yet?
