Can I use PowerCore II 20000 to charge MacBook Pro (15" early 2013)? How?

I’m thinking of buying a PowerCore II 20000, though I would like to be able to charge my MacBook Pro 15" (early 2013) that has a MagSafe 2 socket, along with my other devices.

Would it charge the MacBook? Is it safe?

And, if so, how do I find a cable that is USB on one end, MagSafe 2 on the other? I know Apple doesn’t allow MagSafe products to be made by other brands, but perhaps I can attach different adapters together to achieve this, or find a product that is beyond the reach of Apple’s prohibition?

The charging performance doesn’t need to be spectacular. As long as it charges, and is safe to use that way, I’ll be fine with it. Also, a USB-MagSafe cable could also work, as I’ve got a MagSafe to MagSafe 2 adapter.

I’m not aware of a way.
Of course, if/when you upgrade to a 2016 MBP, you can.

Like @joshuad11 has already mentioned, you could with a 2016 and onwards MBP but not with a 2013. The following thread on Apple gives the reasons and an alternate battery option;

@zdlo sorry, you need USB-C port to do so. Only the 2016 Macs and newer can utilize this technology
