Can I take Anker charger in US Capitol or Smithsonian Museums. We are visiting DC and I know my phone won’t make it thru the day without recharge.
Can I take in government buildings?

Should be no issue at all. They have a prohibited items list on both of their websites that do not mention anything in relation to portable batteries/chargers in any nature. There are metal detectors at all of the locations and any items brought in are sent through the x-ray for screening. They would be able to determine if there was any type of issue with said item prior to entry, but you should be good nonetheless.

I took one (I think the PowerCore 5000) in to a Federal Courthouse when I had jury duty back in March, so you should be ok.
