Bought an Anker Powerbank, arrived with 1 blinky LED from 8

Hi, i bought an Anker Powercore Elite 87W and it arrived today. It had only 1 blinky LED from 8. So that means, it has only under 12.5% battery charging level.

Should i return that product? Because maybe it was there for a long time so the battery cells could aged alreaddy and therefore it’s maybe not really a “new” product anymore? What Battery Level was your Powerbank, when it arrived? I bought it not from Anker directly because it does not ship in my country.

Hey @bla_bla1
I have owned a few PowerBanks that came in various states of charges.
Personally I would fuly charge and get using it :+1:t2:

I wouldn’t worry I’ve had some come dead and others come almost fully charged same with earbuds and speakers I wouldn’t take it to mean it’s bad just make sure you fully charge before use (that’s usually what it says in the user manual). I hope you enjoy your new power bank

The Elite 87W is a physically recent product so no way it can be physically old.

Just charge it and use it.

If you’re worried about capacity you can (preferably) use a USB meter to measure the output Wh , or indirectly infer it from how many recharge you get and use 2/3rd rule. Charging something from it wastes a third of the energy roughly.
