Best way to back up recordings?

Hi all,

I am about to run out of local storage. I don’t want to lose all my recordings in case there is things I need to look back over in the future. I have read that I can’t just put the micro sd card in to my PC as it is encrypted. I can’t select multiple recordings and save them to my phone to then on save to my PC, and I really don’t want to sit there and open 1000’s of clips individually and hit save.

So without purchasing cloud storage which I can’t even find the option for anymore anyway, how do I back up my videos? Everyone talks about setting up a NAS but I think that’s just unnessacery spending when all I want to do is transfer over my recordings and format my sd card and leave it alone for another 3 months.

I really dont understand what you intend to do.
Put all your clips to one folder and store it wherever you want, external USB, SSD or SD.
You can store it to a "cloud"also.

Sound like you just need to get on Amazon or take a trip to your local computer store and purchase an external hard drive to store stuff on.
I use an external hard drive to store music and photos to save space on my laptop.

I think you can just get a 4tb external HDD to plug into the back of the homebase.

@Tangerine As the SD card is encrypted in the short term you would need to export / save the video files to you phone / tablet etc so you can transfer to an external HDD (USB port on Homebase is for charging only)…in the long term if you are wanting to avoid having to repeat this behaviour as you run out of space, you might want to consider investing in a NAS drive (if you don’t already have one) for direct saving from you’re EufyCam setup…

You can upload all these videos to Google photos to cloud with Free option, for high quality. ThIs is the easiest with the Google photos app on your machine,

This keeps uploading videos - only need a high speed connection to ensure all this completes time

Thanks for the replys, it is just as I thought, so my only question now is can I save multiple clips to my phone at once somehow? I can only seem to be able to save them once I have opened each one individually.
