Hey Franz, good morning!
Yes, i had a Weißbierglas, not sure if i still have it, Debs has a habit of breaking my glasses!

The video was funny to watch, the only part i understood was Kathi noting the tempersture needs to be 7-8⁰

I also picked up a few more beers last night.

So funny beers.
Never could get such ones here.

If your Weißbierglas got broken don’t mind,
Maybe a 1/2 pint glass will do IF there is space for the foam.

This way I would never do!

The foam will be killed when getting in touch with the bottleneck
The bottle, bottleneck is NEVER clean (dust and what ever etc).
Its looks nice the way he does, but…

That’s a pity Paul, but that’s life.
1/2 pint is pretty small ca 0,236 L
And a pint is ONLY 0,473 L

A problem

What shall we do?
A flower vase?
Old beer drinkers are inventive…hehehe!

No, only a joke as usual.
May be you find a pint glass, if not ask the neighbours and tell them
we are in an UK/DE joint venture.

Dont drink from the bottle please, because the acid is strong.
But if you are alone nobody will mind if there is some burping.
(The more burps the better the beer)

And at last you can always tell Debs and Charlie
its only caused by that strange brew from Germany,
and I (Franziskaner) am guilty and take full responsibility!

Using half pint will make me go to the kitchen more often.
That means ill also have a biscuit each time

I have other pint glasses, but for ale only. They dont have nucleation eychings on the bottom = less bubbles and less head!

You will make it Paul, I am sure!

Is the head ok for you?

Perfect Paul.

How do you like it?
It should be different in the taste compared with the beers you normally drink.

And of course “Prost Paul” as usual.

Its great Franz.
Yes, different to what im used to. Its slightly fruity citrus flavour, but not too fruity. Very smooth too.

Paul, all fine after the “Weißbier-Experience”?

I dont think its available for a fair price in UK.
But for a test its OK.
And you are always in some strange beers to test.

A little snowfall outside, so not much to do here.

Enjoy sunday & greetings to Debs and Charlie as usual.

Tonight my drinking is Asian inspired.
Well, apart from the Tiger Beer which is brewed in the U.K. by Heineken

I dont know why i bought them as i tend to find Asian beers very gassy.

A co-worker bought me a few bottles of the Tsingtao for Christmas a few years ago, not a bad beer…went well with the Chinese takeout later in the evening :yum:

Seemy you had a asian selection.
Shinga is from thailand.
Those asian beers are mostly brewed on rice basis.
Different taste.

A lonesome, early guest!
Have you escaped from the cold and wet tent in the early morning to a pub?
A pub gives you dry shelter, WIFI and a pint.
All you need!

When I was hitchhiking in UK and Ireland we did that often.
But we always slept in new built houses, often got a cup of tea from the workers in the morning.
But after this cup we had to go and went to a pub.
Often not a good chance for getting a ride because it was “drizzling” outside,
As usual!

What to do? A “pint of Guinness”
In those times the other beers in UK/Ireland were awful for us.
There was not the variety offered one has nowadays there.
Guinness was drafted in nearly every pub.
After a while we liked it, better we had to like it
