Atom PD4 Power load balance

Hi I have an ATOM PD4 100W power supply and have an issue with port power load balancing.
It would support 100W output on a single port, but the moment a second USB-C cable is attached to the other port simultaneously, the limit is cut to 50W on each, regardless of how much the 2nd port actually consumes (even with the cable only, no device plugged, still gets allocated 50W).
Furthermore, unplugging the cable doesn’t result in the remaining device being reallocated 100W. It would stick at 50W until it is reconnected.
I wonder if there is a firmware update or some workaround to make this work smarter?

Correct the PD4 has known lack of sophistication.

Workaround would be to use a timed power switch, smart switch and turn off power for a couple of minutes.
