But this will Launch prize, plus there will be discounts, I will not be going for any more Airpods… These look repeating design, Soundcore products are promising then these

I like the airpods, seems like a pretty decent pair of earbuds. And reading reviews online it seems like they work good with Samsung.
And I agree with you, some Soundcore earbuds look good and are much cheaper

Was only a matter of time before Apple switched to the more widely accepted design we have from third party brands…no doubt claiming the wheel has been re-invented in the process…shape and design look very close to a set of Pamu I am using

One of the main reasons I like the AirPods is that allows me to hear what’s happening around me when I’m outside, so I probably won’t go for this new model.

That’s what transient sound is for, the new Liberty Pro 2 will eventually have this feature.

It’s definitely a nice feature, but when the sound is reproduced by the earphone, you somewhat lose the sense of how close the sound is and what direction it is coming from (for example, it’s sometimes hard to tell if a dog is barking from across the street or if he is about to bite my leg).

Good point, I didnt even think about that

Never used AirPods, are they anywhere near worth the asking price?

they are OK, would use it as last resort, only positive is we can use each airpod independently - which is crucial when the battery is low.

Downside is these fall off from ears, unless we “attach” some kind of plugs to those, and need to attached / removed, so not a big fan of airpod.

i won a pair of airpods at different events / contests, use one for myself and other for wifey, though hardly use them

Quick answer- no. Not even close. They’re worth maybe $80.

That earphone was found on a early patent petition on 2012. Something sad about Apple is that they go back to stuff they left behind for new stuff. There is a story about the guy that did the Apple TV OS. He presented that to Steve Jobs years ago and Steve did not like it. When the Steve die he was approach again by his new boss and he just pull the old project and that’s what we are using now. I know the industry will not be what it is today with out, but I really feel they are just cruising along and trying to keep up with the rest of the industry.
