I am writing to seek assistance regarding an issue I am experiencing with my Anker Soundcore Boost portable Bluetooth speaker. Previously, the speaker worked perfectly, but recently, I encountered an unusual problem.
The speaker only functions when it is connected to a charging cable that is plugged into a power source. However, after some observation, I discovered that it continues to work even when I connect the charging cable to a charger cube (ac/dc convertor adapter/cube) that is not connected to a power source. This means that the speaker can play and operate normally without the need for a direct power source, as long as it is connected to a charging cable.
I find this situation quite perplexing, as the speaker should normally rely on its internal battery to function independently. Additionally, I have already attempted a reset of the speaker, but the issue persists.
I would greatly appreciate any insights, suggestions, or troubleshooting steps that can shed light on this matter.
