Anker soundbuds lite not connecting to my laptop?

I just bought a new pair and they connect with my HP laptop but not with my Dell Inspiron 17R SE 7720. They pair up but then when i got into Playback devices to connect it just doesnt connect. Im using windows 7 btw.
Can somebody please help?

Update your bluetooth drivers. Go to the manufacturer of your bluetooth card and get the updated driver from them, do not rely on windows to auto update your driver

I updated driver but it is still not working.

I think!!!

If your Bluetooth version on your lappy is 4.2, and the earbuds are Bluetooth 5, then they won’t work … I don’t think.

If your lappy was BT 5, it would accept 4.2, but not other way round … Backward compatibility is not built.into the earbuds.
