Anker sound core life p2 undiscoverable

Hi all,

Recently purchased the life p2 via amazon. It worked for the last 4 days. I was using it with my iPhone 8 and 2017 MacBook pro. First 2 days I was using my iPhone, yesterday and today I was using it with my Mac Tried to switch it back to my iPhone and it would not find the headphones in the bluetooth list.

I could see it on my Mac bluetooth list so I deleted it off there.

Now my iPhone and my Mac can’t discover the headphones. My wife tried searching for it too with her laptop and phone and still nothing.

I’ve done the reset of the headphones, putting back into case, holding both buttons down until the lights flicker red 3 times. I’ve restarted my phone and mac and still nothing. Life p2 still undiscoverable. I am able to see other things on my bluetooth list but not the life p2.

This is a bummer. They were working great too.

Anyone else run into this problem? I know Anker customer service is top notch but I was hoping to not have to return and try another pair.

We are sorry to hear your headphones are not working properly. According to the information you described, the issue you are experiencing is very unusual. Thank you for trying some troubleshooting already. Please try the following steps to see if it helps at all.

  • Forget the pairing record on your device and turn off the Bluetooth on your device
  • Place the earbuds into the charging case and make sure they are being charged.
  • Press and hold the button on both earbuds for 3 seconds. The LED indicators will flash red 3 times and then turn white.
  • Close the charging case, wait for several minutes and then take them out of the charging case, the white light on one side will flash quickly, which means it enters pairing mode
  • Enable the Bluetooth on your phone. You can find the device name "Soundcore Life P2 " or “Soundcore Life P2-L” on the Bluetooth list.
  • Please click "Soundcore Life P2 " or “Soundcore Life P2-L” for pairing, the white light will flash slowly, which means it paired successfully.
  • Then there will pop out a screen with “Bluetooth Pairing Request”, just click “Pair” (this step is very important)

Please note, due to the chips platform’s compatibility, in the bluetooth pairing list the Soundcore Life P2 is displayed as “connected”, and the Soundcore Life P2-L is displayed as “not connected”. In fact, the earbuds are normally TWS paired to work.
