Anker Qi Charger/Car Mount

So my wife got the new iPhone X and loves her magnetic car mount. One thing that I would like her to be able to do is use a Qi charger at home while also being able to use a great car mount. Currently, the Anker car mount works with a sizable metal plate which gets in the way of Qi use. I would LOVE to see @AnkerOfficial develop a Qi car mount that is as great as all of their other product.

Currently, the Qi car mounts that I can find on Amazon are bulky, ugly, and poorly
Mophie products can use Qi and magnetic mounts… I wonder if Anker could develop something similar.

If anyone else has overcome this dilemma with some other great product, please let me know! I love @AnkerOfficial products, if they don’t jump on this idea I will still be in the market for a new car accessory.

You could always get the metal ring qi charger that allows magnetic mount and the use of the qi charging. I know you want anker to make one but in the meantime there are a number of available magnetic qi chargers on amazon

The wireless charging smartphones are more and more with each passing day. I’m sure this kind of product will arrive one day !

Thanks for your advice! We will do a wide range of market surveys before we innovate new products, so if a lot of people have this demand, we will certainly do it!:grin:

everything i have read on wireless charging while using QI enabled auto phone mounts is that the phone will only maintain current levels and not increase its charge level. The notion being that wireless charging does not provide enough juice to charge and use phone at the same time. Especially if using gps and music apps etc.

This is correct and has been to my own personal use and testing with my wife’s phone. If you even try to use GPS or bluetooth music the phone will drain faster than the wireless charger can keep up. M
