Last night there was this fears burn smell in our room. The Pad was plugged in using the cable that came with the pad and an Adaptive Fast Wall Charger Adapter wall unit from DiHines. The Pad was not charging a phone, just plugged in with the blue light off. When checking the Pad is was extremely hot and a bit swollen. Is this a common issue?

In parallel, take a good quality photo of charger’s specs, there’s a small chance it’s incompatible with the pad, never heard of DiHines and “fast” and “adaptive” is marketing blurb, only useful information are Volts and protocols as printed on the the charger.
