Not everyone will have Samsung S20  ( for now… )

Here are the output specs - Output: 5V==2.4A/9V==1.67A/12V==1.25A;

I think this will not per the specs,

It should work, I see 5V 2.4A.

Another great deal

i thought i saw the specs on the Samsung S20 charger as 5V at 3A, so mentioned PowerDrive Speed 2 might not charge S20… but may be I am wrong

Haha @Shenoy

S20 is going to put Anker (& other charging brands) under a lot of pressure to get this addressed sooner.

@Insider Josh help me remember, I remember an earlier iteration of, I think, Powercore 10000 PD did not work with a specific Powerport and then an undocumented change fixed it. Feels like just under a year ago. Remember?

I held off buying said Powercore til Anker admitted and fixed the issue.

The issue is IQ3 != PD, they cannot say IQ3 is PD as then they have to certify and probably pay fees, they just know it mostly works. So it’s a “if it works be grateful”. I suspect further that as popular devices show to not work with IQ3 then later IQ3 products will then work with it.

Not a good answer, I know.

IQ2 is older so more likely to work as its evolved longer.

That’s a great deal for most, whether it works with S20 or not

Yes, I believe it was an earlier iteration PowerCore 10000 PD (which is currently unavailable for some reason).

Here’s the thing, @professor: the issue isn’t just PowerIQ 3.0. Power Delivery is also unreliable.

Agree.

The issue is everything quotes Watts when really its a set of Voltages and protocols and versions. The example is a laptop 30W PD which only accepts 20V 1.5A while a phone 30W charger outputs 9V 3A.

The solution is obvious that all technology should accept all voltages and makes the best use of rather than refuse.

Until then, buy from good brands and enjoy the discount of renewed products.

The 10000 PD was largely suceeded by the Redux version, still the two 21700, but the reduction of peak both ports 28W to 15W.
