Whats inside the Powerdrive 2 box ?

Just the car charger and the regular paper stuff of Anker.

Difference between Powerdrive 2 and Powerdrive 2+

I already used a Powerdrive 2+ Car Charger. Now i got my hands on the “regular” Powerdrive 2. To sum up the difference, the Powerdrive is not capable of any kind of quick charge tech. Just PowerIQ.

Charging in the car

I used the Powerdrive 2 now for some car drives and could not squeeze more than 8-9 Watt out for my Google Pixel 3 or my wifes Huawei P20 Pro depending of the battery level of the smartphone

Conclusion

Small charger, buy the Powerdrive 2+ if QuickCharge is important for you: Take the Powerdrive 2 if you have some room problems around your car charging port.

Nice review and pictures. The meter shot also a great help.

When the time comes I plan on replacing my bigger and bulky Quick Charge car chargers with one of these.

Thanks for sharing. How hard is it to get out of the socket in the car? I always stayed away from these low profile chargers.
