Noticing odd behavior with my PowerCore Fusion where the USB-A port charges consistently (but slower), while the USB-C port works selectively. Using a USB-C to C cable (a known good cable from google), I will plug it in to my phone and see the lights on the PowerCore flash repeatedly, the phone vibrating over and over, as if it’s losing and re-establishing connection to the PowerCore. Eventually it gives up and no charging occurs. This happens 80% of the time. However the remaining 20% of the time, the phone charges as expected, quickly. Is this a defect? Is there a list of “good” cables?
Anker PowerCore Fusion 10000 inconsistent behavior
Out of the box, I suspect your cable. I’d first try a different cable, and if the issue resolved, I’d then look at buying an Anker-brand cable for maximum charge efficiency.
Possibly dirty Type-C port on charger but probably cable.
Another good thought from the Dude. Thank ya!
