Anker Powercore Essential 20000 vs 20000 PD

I just received my Anker Powercore Essential 20000, ordered it from Souq.Com Egypt, it was not what I ordered exactly, my order is Anker Powercore Essential 20000 PD, however, what I got is Anker Powercore Essential 20000, so my question is; using the Anker Powercore Essential 20000, Can I charge my iPhone XS MAX using USB-C input port or only one of the two USB-A ports? And What I will miss from the Anker Powercore Essential 20000 PD?

The main difference is time to recharge the Powercore.

The PD gives 18W out Vs non-PD usually 12W out which for most phones most of the time makes a small difference.

You’d use a A to Lightning cable with the non-PD and use a C to Lightning cable with the PD.

As per @professor @sherif_ellethy
Although not a massive difference in spec, if there was a difference in price you should either get a replacement or a refund for the difference.

I could be wrong but I was under the impression that the essential 20000 had the usb c port as an input port only meaning you could not charge your iPhone or any device for that matter through it and would have to use the usb c ports. The essential 20000 pd has a usb c port that can be used to both charge the power bank and charge other devices as well.

Powercore essential 20000 pd

The lowest cost of the non-PD is about £20, the lower cost of the PD is about £25, so PD adds about 25%.

For that you basically lose Wattage in and out, I’d say if free return/replacement go for it, otherwise you can perfectly function with the non-PD and suffer slower.

Depending on your needs you might have to send it back and get the 2000 PD one

Years ago, a similar mistake was made and Anker made it right. I would absolutely reach out to them via the contact methods in the packaging.
