Hello,
I’ve bought my Anker Powercore 26800 for about 2 months. I have a problem, that the Powercore didn’t charge my Phone. I’ve fully charged the Powerbank using Powerport +1 Wall Charger and the cable included in the package.
Also, I’ve tried all 3 ports and use original cable both from anker and my phone charging cable, but it still doesn’t work.
And FYI, when I pushed like once and repeatedly on the power button, only 1 or 2 LED indicator fast blinking.
I tried to push 2 times more faster than the last try, all the LED indicator turn on. But still won’t charge my phone. Is anyone has the same problem as mine? Please let me know if you have any solutions to solve this problem.
Thanks before.
Anker Powercore+ 26800 didn't charge my Phone
Based on your words it sounds like you have a fault with your Powercore 26800 or your Powerport+1 charger, and you should email support@anker.com with your order details and serial number to make a warranty claim.
However, to be sure I understand:
- use another cable. About 1:4 cables fail so you might have a little bad luck your 2 cables were bad
- use another charger. Which 26800 did you get? There were 7 26800 models I spotted.
- the fact when you press the power button only 1 or 2 LED light up looks like the 26800 is not actually charged which could be the charger not actually outputing so the charger is broken or the 26800 is not taking in power so could be the 26800.
What phone do you have and have you tried it on another?
From the description, I think you had a bad one. I would suggest you contact anker support and ask for a warranty replacement.
I think my Powercore is broken. I’ve tried charge my phone (Samsung Note 8) using powerport charger and it worked.
So, I tried to plug another phone to Powercore, still won’t charge. I’ve contacted Anker support, and they’re telling me to send the Powercore to them, so they can check what’s wrong with it.
And thanks for your advice.
Thanks to Helix and NTran.
Well in that case then agreed, all evidence points to 26800 failure.
To get you resolved quickly, I recommend over-communicating with support@anker.com , send 1 email, photos and evidence you tried to eliminate the cable etc and then, in my experience (I think I had total of 3 Anker product failures) you can get a satisfactory resolution much faster.
This is significantly why I prefer Anker because other vendors are more assuming it is my fault and take far longer to accept the warranty. I have never had a bad Anker support experience, unlike others, cough cough…
Well, I hope Anker will quickly solve this problem. This is my first experience using their product. Hope nothing goes wrong. Haha
This is what they told me to do. First, send the broken Powercore, box and warranty card. Then they’ll check the problems.
Thanks for your advice.
