What happened to this product? I cant find it on their website anymore when I could just last week.
I very much want a “Anker PowerCore 20100 Nintendo Switch Edition” but on amazon its 170 and thats laughable compared to what I saw selling for on here.
Anker PowerCore 20100 Nintendo Switch Edition
They sometimes remove it due to stock issues, also, that product is an overpriced jokes. Get a normal power bank. It’s no different.
I thought the Nintendo Switch had compatibility issues with some power banks. I realize it costs some more but peace of mind is worth a bit extra if its garunteed safe.
It makes 0.0 difference. It is basically just marketing to make you pay more. Power is power, no matter where it comes from.
Please note that on occasion when stock is low Anker removes the products from it’s website. Also the posting in Amazon is from a third party seller and not Anker so prices can generally be crazy high.
@580baby while you may think this batterypack is a joke at it’s high price, it offers peace if mind to users who have a switch and can know that it’s guaranteed to work with their device. Peace of mind is better than risking your game on a cheaper batterypack that can ruin it. Anker worked with Nintendo to ensure not only compatibility but also that it provides the power required to power and charge their devices. Which not all battery packs can do and do it safely.
Sure spec wise some packs may seem compatible, but without actual testing you just never know
Thanks everyone! Ill keep an eye out and see if it comes back up.
There has been 0 reported accounts of anything different happening on a different power bank. People don’t buy meter steel roofs just to ensure the peace of mind that water won’t get in. You aren’t paying for the guarantee, Anker would rma it if it dosen’t work, you are paying for the logo, and there isn’t any getting around that. If you want to, then you can, but this really is the definition of marketing deception.
Before you start talking about zero incidents, just because you don’t see it being reported in mainstream news does not mean it’s not an issue.

And also read up in why unlicensed products and chargers are causing all sorts if problems for switch users. So yes having a licensed battery pack that is tested for compatibility is essential to ones peace of mind with their switch
Do they come with the wall chargers for the powerbanks?
They do not come with a charger but do come with a cable.
why you shouldn’t use non Nintendo certified Power Banks or Docks
Thank you, similarly stated in the article I posted
Thanks for all the help everyone. Ill either wait for it to come back up or buy from Anker on Amazon. Appreciated!
Or you could buy it over the Best buy or Walmart websites they both have free delivery I believe.
What about the powercore speed PD 20000? I was thinking about using this with my switch, but now I might not. You guys have got me freaked out.
Edit:
Nevermind I watched the video above.
Some people have had sucess using it, but I don’t know about after the recent update if it still works
I won this product but the little one on the anker page, we must admit that it is of very good quality. Load fast in 3-4 hours. but what I did not like about this product is that you should buy a usb type c cable to have a fast charge, even if you have not tried it but the usb port does not load very fast, let’s say. If I had a nintendo swich for sure I would buy the 21000 is very good quality I think it’s worth it.
I read it in an article at the time. Also, this doesn’t mean that it needs to be branded, it means that Nintendo made a craptastic product with charging errors. It doesn’t mean you need to buy a product that has a markup, it means you need to do research.
Doesn’t it come with a USB-C to USB-C cable? You probably should not be charging your Switch via USB-A.
