Anker Model AR200 - How to Open?

I put what I thought was a MicroSD card into the MicroSD slot of an Anker USB 3.0 Card Reader Model AR200. However, I can not get the card out and it’s rattling around on the inside. I believe the card was too small for the MicroSD slot. It’s referred to as a “TF card” in the manual for the dashcam it came with.

Is there any way to open the device to retrieve the card? At this point the MicroSD slot is unusable and I obviously can’t use the card in my dashcam. I’m tempted to break it open to retrieve the card but thought I’d find out if there is a way to safely open it.

I took a look at some photos of that reader.
The only chance is to open it at the top cover.
There is a little space between the case and the lid.
You can try to get it open there.

I ended up breaking it open to get to the card. Oh, well.

A new one is not so expensive.
