At this point, there are plenty of cables out there that are tough. However, the weak point is still the area where the cable is connected to the ends. The easy ad for this is to show a bunch of people just yanking the cable out of the wall chargers; wall charger has to be an Anker one, of course, and the charge has to stay connected to the wall. I have an Anker wall charger that keeps falling off the wall sockets/airplane charger sockets.

Bonus points: tie one Anker cable to the end the USB female end and another cable to the other end and show how much weight they can hold before snapping off.

The purpose of the cable is to not fail in other than the protruding metal port part.

You actually want the port part to fail before the more expensive device it is connected to.

My entry. Simple, but gets the point across.

A video of two teenagers going through a semester of school. One of them has an anker cable, the other has the original cable. At the end of the semester, the anker cable is in great condition and the original cable is falling apart.
