Anker Auction House | Soundcore Flare 2

Yea I feel like I shouldn’t have taken that hiatus. I could’ve bid more than just once or twice initially :joy:. Definitely wouldn’t have taken it to the 5K mark because I burned a lot on Flare Mini :joy:

I think you still got a good deal on bucks on Flare Mini (just 1560 PB)

Yea not sad about that but sure didn’t help with my already low stash :joy:

For the price in real $, this is a disproportionately worse value.

Pretty sure I would save bucks waiting for the Flare 2 to be in the powerdraw here and on soundcore, and entering every time.

Bid 5110 PB

@TechMan I think you are wrong about saving on it by going in the powerdraw here. The total number of powerbucks invested in a flare the last three times it has been listed in the powerdraw: 5160 (86 entries, 60 PB each), 5820 (97 entries, 60PB) and 3240 (54 entries, 60 PB). Those were all about a year ago, I haven’t seen the Flare 2 listed there or another flare included since. The Flare 2 is a more attractive product, you are guaranteed to either get it or pay nothing, and they aren’t listed often, so this should go for more than those…

The giveaways at soundcore are quite different and less transparent, so I can’t compare that.

The Q10s that have been recently listed were worse PB values - 5400 PB (135/139 entries @ 40PB each) or more for a cheaper highly desired product. The Motion Q last week was a relative steal - 2360PB for a $40 product, equivalent to about 4000 for a $70 product.

It isn’t as good of a deal if considering the PB to $ exchange rate for cables, or chargers / batteries. But those aren’t as fun either.

A number of the auctions in the past have been crazy good prices, like @Shivam_Shah’s steal on the Mini and @Shenoy’s absolute theft of the mystery box, but that is largely because most waited until the end and it came down to who pressed the button last. I can’t win on button press timing, so trying it the other way. The value compared to a powerdraw would still be good at the current price.

Yep that’s what I looked at to judge if it was a fair price or not

Lol yea I tried to calm down and not post too much in the Mini auction so it wasn’t as active :joy:

Good strategy :smirk:

I was being more facetious then being serious. If I was confident in what I said I would have crunched the numbers myself :joy:.

Me too.
But there may be others who need such monsters.
Different users, who need different speakers.
I am happy with those I own.
I would not have space on my shelf.

Tell me about it, just hoping whoever wins hasn’t been subject of an up bidding frenzy :cold_sweat:

Round numbers are good.

5200 pb.

I bid 5210 PB

5300 pb.

And I now have a rogue @ndalby notification from halfway up this thread that pops up every day or so. I hear others have had this trouble, new one for me.
