Candies! ohoho.
Are US candies different from those here over the pond?
We have fun here!

If you had said powercandies that would have been much clearer. Or even just candies. I did a double take as well.
Okay, in the interest of getting this back on track, and solving some ocd issues.
Bid 5990 PB.
I change my bid to 5980 … making jercox’s bid as Highest bidder at 5990 PB
Yay we made it to 6k
The magic number!
This will be the start of the “battle of the bidders”
6k? damn… you have more chances of winning the powerdraw more multiple times than 6k for this speaker.
I have more chances of winning on Auction… Zero chances on PowerDraw… PowerDream, with all Powerbucks
Though PowerDraw was the initial win which got me into Anker community… Have not won a single time in last 3 years… I enter PBs every week
Don’t worry Rob, I got it the first time .
Haha same
The odds are not in your favor I guess haha! Plus there has only been 3 regular Flares in the PowerDraw the past two years.
yeah… I think auction is better for me
You are killing it!
After the auction i will almost be killed losing these many PBs
Which would you prefer, someone outbids you 10 PBs and they lose 6010 PBs to be not a competitor next Auction, or would you prefer the Flare 2?
I would prefer to get this one… But with the auction deadline time during day, I still believe this wil be swipe at last m i n
I see you guys are getting up in some decent bucks now.
Power Draw is too much fun to play and you do not have to worry about losing your money.
But you do lose money (PB) it if you dont win
If you win an auction, you are spending your PBs on a guaranteed product. The draw is a generally lousy chance at a product, with much worse odds for attractive products like this is. And you lose the PBs spent on entries. The auction makes more sense to me as a way to spend.
My only shot at winning was to bid higher than anyone else was willing to go, as I will be offline at the end of the auction. Signs indicate that @Shenoy and @ndalby have more PBs than I do, and are willing to spend them. So I lose this one, but hopefully another shot at something good soon.
Sniping is my least favorite auction mechanism, and I have two suggestions for auction types that would avoid this for @AnkerOfficial. Hopefully they will get some consideration, not too complicated.
One is to do a Vickrey auction - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vickrey_auction. Bids would be PMd to a designated address (over say 5 days to a week), at the end of the bidding period the highest bidder gets it but only pays the price the second highest bidder put up. Gives everyone incentives to bid what they think it is worth, and eliminates sniping. People can post their bids publicly, but it puts them at a disadvantage, so the conversation will all be misdirection and speculation, probably a fun thread even without public bids.
Alternatively, have it be a true maximum bid auction. Guaranteed to be open for at least x days, but after that the auction ends when no new bids have been made in the past 24 hours. The final bid is the winner and pays his final bid price, and anyone who can get on at least once a day can have a real chance to participate. Then we don’t have no action for the last two weeks as is happening here, and you have no reason to hold your bidding back and snipe at the end.
I suggest much shorter events, these run on too long and the boredom kicks in before the fun ends. A few days, say start on a Friday and finish on a Monday.
I’m not particularly into speakers, when I get them I gift them away. Not a criticism, just I really really like the slim around-neck wired buds, I live in them continuously, I’m too scatter-brained for anything else, I just lose wireless buds or not have speakers with me when I need them. I’m happy for those who like this type of product to battle it out but suggest a shorter event so maximum fun intensity for those who want it.
Right now the only thing I truly want is this
