Anker at CES

Is this happening?

Look at the last Periscope, Lawrence answered that question, I think it was a yes (from memory).

Woohoo! @AnkerOfficial Are you going to make an announcement?!

I am curious to know what new gadgets anker will be unleashing in 2017 !

The only one I know of as of this point is the PowerCore Fusion.

There are a number of changes which Lawrence in particular has mentioned in the last few AMA Periscopes.

There is a change of battery supplier. I see the Powercore II move to more of a “slab” battery from the more round type they use in “everything”. Lawrence said “I think we’re changing battery supplier…” type statement. That might be for quality, cost, performance or safety reasons, I trust their judgement.

“Fusion”. The first is known, the Powercore Fusion 5000. Thinking about it, that “fusion” idea can be put into more places, say (given adding a battery adds weight so leads to plugged devices falling out the socket), the Powercore5 type concept where there is cord (lightweight) to a brick (which can become heavier) to ports (to devices), so take that idea and extend into more areas like a Powercore Fusion 10000 of a combo of the Powerport5 + Powercore 10000.

“Eufy” - more unrelated ideas. I suspect this one will be where most of the ideas will come from, as it is the big wide world of “other”.

Yes, Eufy has been growing very slowly thus far. I agree new products are needed for them to stay alive! The battery change doesn’t seem too notable and in fact will probably go unnoticed to some, and I had already mentioned the PowerCore Fusion.
