I didn’t realize I bought this so long ago (2015), I used it just a couple months ago, now it won’t charge at all. I tried several cords, nothing. Is there anything I should do or just give up?

Plug it in and leave it alone, sometimes dead batteries take a long time charging to revive them. Make sure the wall plug is at least 5v 2.5a

thanks I tried that last night, sadly nothing.
What kind of plug are you using? Please do not say it’s a cell phone wall plug, as most are not adequate to properly charge things. Also how long did you leave it plugged in?
Try plugging the pack into itself, to reset the internals and try again, this time leave it for 24 hours
I have a regular plug in not cell phone, I will try to plug it into itself and see how it is tomorrow

What’s the output rating of that plug? The voltage and amps have to be high enough to spark the charge

It’s a regular house hold plug, which I have used plenty of times, the adapter is the one that I got with the Anker at the time.
Your not getting what I’m saying, what wall plug are you using to charge the batterypack? As in what do you plug the usb cable into, and what are the output specs on that plug
