Anker 8-in 1 Dual HDMI stops working after sleep/reboot/plug in

Recently got the Anker 8 in 1 Dual HDMI and it works fine until I either put the computer to sleep, restart or shut it down, or plug it in. The HDMI ports stop sending signal to my two monitors and I have to unplug and plug the Anker hub (sometimes multiple times) to get it to work again.

I am using a Lenovo Yoga C940 running on Windows 10. Any advice would be appreciated otherwise I am likely going to return this and get another product. Thank you.

You will most likely have to go into your power settings and prevent the usb ports from going to sleep

Thank you, I tried that and it did not solve it unfortunately.
