I just installed my new Anker docking station and connectioned my two monitors to it via the HDMI jacks. The hub comes with two HDMI ports (1.4 and 1.3). The monitors are identical, yet the the hub only recognizes which ever monitor is connected to the 1.4 port. I’ve switched the monitors around and they both work fine out of the 1.4, but can’t get the hub to recognize the one connected to 1.3.
Admittedly, i’m not too technically inclined on the hardware side so wondering if it has something to with the type of monitors i have? They are both fairly new (Samsung 27" curved monitors that i purchased within the last 2 years). Any thoughts?
