When I reviewed the ANKER PD 1 Atom my only critique was that it could use folding prongs. I hope I had something to do with this new product! You never know. I might have to pick one of these up as travel space is always a premium.

There are 3 key differences between the Atom PD1 and this charger.

  • the atom pd1 uses Gallium Nitride technology while this charger doesn’t
  • this charger has folding plugs, and the Atom PD1 obviously doesn’t
  • this charger has power IQ 3.0 and the atom PD1 doesn’t.

I don’t think this charger was made to be a “successor” to the atom PD1, but I’m glad you like the idea!

Thanks for pointing out the differences. I just really wanted the Atom to have folding prongs.

We’ve got lots of USB C devices. I just need iPhone to go that way but I’m hearing I’ll need to wait another year. :neutral_face:
