100 watts is a lot of power for a phone. Maybe a MacBook would better suit this.

… or if you had a USB PD hub and you needed 100W into the hub to power all the peripherals.

I suggest people simply buy this cable now and think of a use for it later.

I say this rarely.

100W is the maximum USB-PD and you’re not really going to see a substantially lower price than $10.

Once Apple uses modern technology, the cable will benefit Apple.
