Always on / rtsp on

Hi folks, is it possible to set the cam in always on mode. So when i use the cam on my surveillance NAS, so the cam is off when is no motion detected.

This is a great misstake from eufy cam. When i look in my cam, ive i want have a video stream, so it is in the moment the accu power not realy important. The accu power is my problem. When the cam is in normal run mode or detect some motions, it is ok that cam is to decide when is the cam sleeping.

If the cam in power chargeing it must have the user to decide if the cam always on and if we use the rtsp protocol the cam have to wakeup and show the stream.

I hope that eufy team see this thread an take this idea as a new features in the eufy cam software.

Thanks and greets

As far as I’m aware the EufyCam’s require motion detection and cannot be set to be always on recording as per a standard CCTV system. It would be a good feature to have but also would drain the battery like crazy…

The best you can do would be to run in custom mode with 120sec clips…

Hi,

i know that accu is faster empty but if you want to use the cam into surveillance station it must have a feature to set the cam to always on.

But what i have from a surveillance station when you have look some motion videos and you have no online available stream.

It is ok to have the accu in save mode but then it is the rtsp protocol not realy a useful feature.

But, if you use the anker app the cam goes online. Into login rtsp protocol they must have cam goes online to.

I think the idea and the good battery life is great. Unfortunately, only the ideas do not fit together.
