After winning an event. What now?

a quick question for winning an event or an item. Once Anker announces that you have won an item, do they contact you directly? What address will they use? How long is the typical process time (i know they are on a hiatus)? I think im more concerned about the mailing address.

Depends. These are the usual gates:

  • wait til the end of the competition. Even if you won, have to wait til end of the competition.
  • wait til the next working day after, so usually not working weekends so the Monday after
  • then get an email saying won a prize and to supply delivery address
  • then ships 1 day to 1 week after
  • delivery 1 day to 1 week after

So the fastest is usually 2 days but can be up to 3 weeks.

Once you have won a contest, Anker will contact you via email that you registered with for the contest. Once they announce the winners they should have given a date or a period of time before they reach out to the winners. If they didn’t list period of time, give them a week or two. @AnkerOfficial WILL reach out to you as quickly as they can. One of the contests I won’t it took almost 2 weeks to before they contacted me. But the new years one they responded in a few days.

In addition to what @Element321 @nigelhealy said, you will typically receive an email that has a link for you to follow, in that link you provide your email address you signed up and won with/your address dress or where they are going to be sending your prize. Sometimes these emails go to your spam folder even if you have Anker whitelisted, so if you ever win keep an eye out in your spam folder.

I was thinking of asking the same thing - I can’t wait to get the prize from the Valentine’s Day thread, and I find myself checking my email a bit too often :wink:
