A few issues with nebula capsule 2

A few days ago the mailman rang my doorbel with this item in a box. I’m impressed by it in most parts (image is good, sound is excellent) but a few things are not as i hoped.

1- Why can’t i use the remote to start it up most of the times? This means i need to pick it up, push the button on the device and place it back in the right ways as it was before.
2- The volumebuttons on the remote sometimes doesn’t work. It always works using the app. But that means picking up my phone, unlock it. Starting the app and pushing the volume up or down button
3- Everynight after watching an episode on Netflix I couldn’t shut down the projector using the remote with the remote
4- is it possible to change the brightness? Is has standard or battery mode. But even battery mode is a little bit too bright. Other projectors have this option

Thanks for choosing Nebula. Please see my answers below to your issues:

  1. You can only use the remote to turn it on when it’s plugged in.
  2. The volume buttons on the remote are IR codes instead of Bluetooth, so you will need to point the remote to the IR receiver (black dot) on the Capsule 2 to adjust
  3. Sine the Netflix supported on the Capsule 2 is a mobile version, so it’s recommended using Nebula Connect app’s mouse mode to better control it.
  4. You could go through settings>projector settings>image mode to adjust the brightness slightly. Sorry if it’s too bright under complete dark environment.

Hello,

thanks for the response. But I do not understand why some choices have been made to be like this.

The idea to save batterytime by only enabling powering on the device when it’s plugged in i can understand a little bit. But if the remote has bluetooth why not enabling all buttons to work also via bluetooth?

I’m using it mostly to project on a ceiling. Therefore i need to place the item in a drawer of a closet. So IR reception is nearly impossible. I’m hoping it wil be made possible with updates

Is there really no way to lower brightness :low_brightness: more :sob: ? Like hidden settings ? :two_hearts:
