I have a MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2020, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports) and connected to it the PowerExpand Elite with a Samsung U28E570 4k monitor. When I plug in the monitor with an HDMI cable I get 4k but the mouse is quite jerky so I purchased a DisplayPort to USB-C / ThunderBolt adapter. When I plug this in I can only get 2k resolution for my monitor but when I plug it directly into my laptop I get 4k. There is nothing else plugged into the dock except for a LAN cable. Any ideas why this might be? The resolution of the screen is 60Hz but I can’t change this on the Mac and the top resolution that I can set the monitor to on the mac is 2560 x 1440.
