4 Port Ultra Slim Hub

I have a Lenovo IdeaPad S340 running Windows 10. It only has two USB ports so I am using my Anker hub (Model A7516) to access additional flash drives. Today I plugged it in and inserted two flash drives. Both drives were recognized for a while. However, after an hour or so my laptop screen went blank and the computer was on but not responsive. I removed the hub and the wireless mouse transmitter and finally hard reset the laptop. When the computer restarted I received a message that a USB device was not recognized by the computer. Since I have used each of the flash drives before I can only assume that was the Anker Hub.

My question - is there a driver for this hub? I have used it with other pc’s that I own and never had this problem.

This USB hub is supported only for Windows 8 / 7 / Vista / XP, Mac OS X 10.2 (and above), Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4 users should upgrade to Mountain Lion 10.8.2 or later to avoid unstable connections.

Windows 10 is not on supported OS. If it was working on Windows 10, some windows update may have caused it to cause the behavior.
