I hate ignorant reviewers.

He was straight comparing mAh when the voltages are different and of a device being used.

Theres always one! :man_facepalming:t2:
And 66% efficiency he quotes is about right for a PowerBank anyway.
Think he needs to spend some time online researching!

Same here

It’s at least 75% efficiency, depending how slow he was recharging and usage, could be a lot higher.

I always use 2/3rds rule as a rough guide but to blanket blame a product is unfair on Anker.

More interesting is the Samsung uses 3.85V cells and Anker LiPoly 3.6V.

By all means criticise for reliability or features, but not basic electronics all have to understand.

I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that his review is un-factual, or the fact that 4 people found it “helpful” :man_facepalming:

Right it did make me get the magnifying glass out to read the 72Wh off my 20000 PD which is actually a little low, Anker using lower Voltage cells so not all 20000 are the same, but I’d already done this for my phone:

  • OnePlus 3300mAh
  • 2/3rds rule
  • 20000 / 3300 / 3 x 2 = 4.04
  • so I’d expect 4 recharges from it.
  • so a long weekend without a wall plug, for example.

As for people finding unfactual as helpful, well UK has Brexit and US has Trump of how facts doesn’t stop popularity

Then this review is unfair, Anker already said its slow to recharge off stock chargers, you need a 18W PD charger, plus its probably too big a battery for the use case.
