I do not think they are really pushing those anymore. I know me and @jercox both had issue with them. The band broke due to consist pressure at one point(and a thin sliding band) if you do not move slider.
Other than that, they were pretty decent headset with passive anc and a cool gel.
Hey @Duane_Lester I read a few reviews complaining about the band. They get well reviewed on sound, shame the build doesn’t match.
I love the sound and stuff but it needed extra support.
I still use it. It was holding on by a sliver. So I slid it back in and duct taped it. Good as new. Lol
On the Soundcore community they talked about bringing this line back. I would be all for it but it needs an upgrade before I’m willing to hand over any money. The breaking of the band happened way too many times in way too many reviews to make it a product worth me going for. I think if they gave it a redo and did it right it could be a really great product
Yep, even at $20 it is a would not buy based on build quality for me. Needs a band that has a metal frame, the plastic will take the stress for a while and then fail. And it isn’t a minor fix.
I wish all of these consumer electronics had standard replaceable parts, there is no great design reason to make everything so hard to work on.
Duct tape fixes everything.
And if you find something it can’t fix, you’re simply not using enough
I have seen where somebody made a duct tape prom dress.
I think making things out if duct tape is a “thing” @Duane_Lester
I’ve seen wallets and backpacks to name a few, pretty cool.
In this case, duct tape would just make it uglier…
